5. SoundPEATS Magnetic Wireless
Best Wireless Gaming Earbuds
We are going to start our best gaming earbuds list with a wireless option. You can find cheap and wireless earbuds everywhere now, but they will not last as long and will take a toll on your wallet over time, the SoundPEATS Magnetic Wireless comes to the rescue. They are very comfortable, have a good range of tips and wings included in the package, great sound quality, subtle looks, and at their price they simply have no cons, one of the absolute best in the budget price.
The SoundPEATS Magnetic Wireless has a long cylindrical housing in which they house 6mm drivers on each end. They may be longer than most of the earbuds but there is a good reason behind that, they have magnets on their ends so that means when you are not using them on your commute you can wear them around your neck like a necklace. They are pretty fun actually and as soon as you take them out of your ear and let them go they will come together.
On top of that, they look amazing, with an all-black body with just the ‘S’ logo in gunmetal finish at each end.
The earbuds are covered in nanocoating that gives them the IPX6 sweatproof rating, meaning they will not get damaged during sports and hot weather due to sweat.
On the package, you will find 5 pairs of interchangeable ear tips with different sizes and 3 pairs of interchangeable ear fins, a leather carry bag, user manual, three slide line buckles, a line clamp, and the USB charging cable.
The SoundPEATS Magnetic Wireless will pair with your phone instantly and the charging lasts for an amazing 8 hours of use with a charging time of just 1.5 hours. The earbuds also have Qualcomm’s CVC 6.0 noise cancellation on them that also comes with CSR chip and APT-X Bluetooth. The sound quality was very good for the price and features of the device, although, it will take them some time to loosen up and achieve good levels and clarity.
You cannot find better wireless headphones for gaming at the price point that SoundPEATS Magnetic Wireless offers.
4. KLIM Fusion Earphones
The KLIM Fusion Earphones are an excellent pair of headphones that have a low price and provide great value. They are pretty small and portable and will be a great addition to your gaming laptop and for your console gaming sessions as well. Thanks to their subtle design, you can use the KLIM Fusion Earphones even for commuting and everyday use as they are compatible with every smartphone and provide decent music audio, and at that price they can’t get any better.
KLIM is known for producing snowmobile and offroad motorcycle gear, and it is the best brand at that market as well. They may be very new to the gaming peripheral market but with the KLIM Fusion Earphones they have hit the sweet spot for every gamer. Don’t let their inexperience to the gaming peripheral market lead you, the in-ear earbuds are excellent.
In the package, the KLIM Fusion Earphones have included a good range of memory foam ear tips for various ear sizes to achieve a perfect fit. However, you will not find any sort of noise cancellation, but that is expected based on its price, although, they do a good job of isolating the outside noises thanks to the memory foam ear tips. Also, it is worth mentioning that memory foam translates to excellent comfort meaning that you can wear the KLIM Fusion Earphones during your long gaming sessions and you will forget that you are wearing them.
When it comes to the sound quality the KLIM Fusion Earphones delivers big time, usually you have to compromise the sound quality for the price of the earbuds, but there is an exception here. It will provide awesome directional sound and video game scores will sound fantastic, when you listen to music you will be pleased if you are not looking for audiophile-grade audio quality.
The earbuds are designed to last you for a long time, and KLIM offers five years of after-sales service, that no other company on the market offers. The customer service is very responsive and it will respond within hours to your concerns.
KLIM Fusion Earphones definitely provide the most value for their price in this list.
3. HyperX Cloud Elite
Best Phone Gaming Earbuds
You can easily see that the gaming earbud market has not a lot of good and quality choices, and the most known manufacturers see the opportunity and have made attempts to cash-in the opportunity. Razer has done a pretty good job with the Cloud Elite gaming earbuds, they have a good combination of balanced sound, with great portability, and a good design language that makes them ideal for portable gaming and for everyday use as well, one of the most versatile in this list.
The HyperX Cloud Elite earbuds come with a 4-foot long wire that is clad in a striking red color, on the main part you will locate two circular black earbuds that both of them have removable rubber tip that look and feel like neoprene. The ear tips are gray in color and are see-through, they have a triangular shape with open circles let the sound out.
The design of the ear-tips is pretty well thought, once you find your ear-size you just put them in, interestingly they do not feel as secure as you may think, but they have not fallen out of my ear even while jogging.
While I don’t really prefer wearing earbuds, I really felt that the HyperX Cloud Elites are pretty comfortable even for everyday use, in the package you can find three included sizes small, medium, and large, so you will definitely find the right one.
You can connect the earbuds to a wide range of devices as they are pretty much compatible with any console, mobile device, and PCs, thanks to their connection via a 3.5mm audio jack. However, the 4-feet cable is not the best for PC use as it will prove short. Buyers have stated that this is one of the best pair of earbud for use with Nintendo Switch, it provides amazing directional sounds and you can hear plenty of details through your gaming session.
The HyperX Cloud Elite earbuds have an amazing soundscape through the frequency range, they offered a sharp and clean sound that was pleasant while listening to various genres.
Thanks to their loud microphone, compatibility, good sound quality in gaming and while listening to music the Cloud Elite will be your go-to earbud.
2. Sony MDR-XB50AP
Thanks to their boosted and enhanced bass the Sony MDR-XB50AP, make for a great pair of gaming earbuds. They are very popular with bass-heads, and they have a great microphone, they are solidly built with Sony quality, they sound pretty well and are at a low price point compared to other music listening earbuds. The Sony MDR-XB50AP will be at your side for a long long time.
For a pair of earbuds, the Sony MDR-XB50AP are relatively large, and will seem quite heavy on the first impression, but you will be surprised by their lightweight once you put them in your ear, as they provide great comfort and movement. The size won’t be a concern if you prefer to sleep on your side with the headphones on, other than that its size won’t prove to be a problem.
The size is due to the 12mm drivers that provide awesome and large sound, as they are one of the biggest drivers on earbuds in the market. In the package you can find 4 sizes of silicone ear tips to suit your ear size and preference, you can choose from extra small, small, medium, and large. The ear tips feel very soft in your ear and after some time you will forget that you wear them, as they move with your head and don’t wiggle, this is mostly to the lightweight chassis of them.
Due to Sony build quality, I didn’t have any concern about the solidness and durability of the Sony MDR-XB50AP, and I was not surprised by its metal body that is extremely durable, while these are not sweat or water-proof, they proved to be useful against both. Also it is worth stating that the cord will not get tangled as easily, and even if it does you can sort it out very quickly, due to its excellent design.
The Sony MDR-XB50AP has Extra Bass written on its package, and it delivers. The low-frequency sounds were very deep and punchy throughout the range, this is mostly possible because of the 12mm dynamic driver. They will deliver excellent audio quality during gaming, and especially during listening to music.
1. Cooler Master MH710
Best High-End Option
When it comes to the best gaming earbuds you can find on the market, the Cooler Master MH710 takes the cake. It is built with quality materials, great sound quality while listening to music, and an excellently tuned gaming performance, and its biggest selling point the Focus FX 2.0 technology that sets the Cooler Master MH710 apart from its competition, and with its competitive price it is not hard to see why these are the best.
In the package of the Cooler Master MH710 you can find the earbuds, the instruction manual and a carrying box, which has a nice and attractive design. However, once you open up the carrying case you will find more accessories, including an airplane jack, two other sets of ear tips that have different sizes, a two-way splitter for microphone/headphone for PC setups, and a USB-C to 3.5mm dongle that proved to be very handy.
When you look generally at the design of the Cooler Master MH710, they are pretty much the same as their predecessors, with the same elongated earbuds and a braided cable. But on the earbuds where the CM logo is located on the outside, you will see that it can be pressed and it is used for activating and deactivating the Focus FX 2.0. It is a game calibrated technology that changes the frequency response significantly, it had a great effect on bass and the vocal range as it enhanced them adequately for gaming.
The company explains that one mode is used for movies, music, and podcasts and the other for gaming, through testing I can actually agree with the company as the performance was pretty good for gaming with directional sounds being just perfect and talking to your teammates was very pleasing thanks to its great microphone, and also the Focus FX 2.0 provided great vocals from teammates as everything was more comprehensible.
When it came to music performance the Cooler Master MH710 was awesome thanks to its 10mm Neodymium audio drivers, that were loud enough and reached a great spectrum of frequencies, with a good emphasis on the low range.
The absolute best gaming earbuds, based on its price, calibration, and its sound quality.
